    Costa Rican Sunset
    This fruit is born on an unknown species of Hylocereus that is the most unique of all the dragon fruit vines in our collection. Instead of having ribbed internodes the nodes are continual forming elliptical sections of growth. In addition, this vine is particularly slow growing and has tremendous girth. The fruit is cranberry colored having relatively few seeds and good flavor. This variety does require cross pollination, and would be appreciated most by a collector.
